Growing Up in Kevin James and Steffiana de la Cruz’s Family
Her parents married on June 19, 2004, after meeting through a blind date. Kevin James was already widely known for portraying Doug Heffernan on The King of Queens, which ran from 1998 to 2007. Sienna-Marie arrived while that sitcom was still on television, well before Kevin became closely associated with big-screen family comedies.
Steffiana de la Cruz has her own acting background. Her work includes appearances on The King of Queens, Zookeeper, and the Paul Blart films. Both parents therefore had experience with film and television before their daughter began taking small roles.
Kevin has discussed fatherhood in interviews, describing how having children changed the projects he wanted to make. In a 2012 interview cited by PEOPLE’s family profile, he said he wanted to create movies he could comfortably watch with his kids.
Her Three Younger Siblings
Sienna-Marie is the oldest of four. Her younger sister Shea Joelle James was born in June 2007, followed by brother Kannon Valentine James in April 2011 and youngest sister Sistine Sabella James in January 2015.
Shea has appeared with Sienna-Marie on screen, including in Pixels and Kevin Can Wait. Kannon and Sistine were also part of Hubie Halloween, and the siblings participated in the 2022 staging of Oliver!.
Sienna-Marie James Movies and Television Appearances
Early Roles in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 and Pixels
Her first widely documented film credits came in 2015. In Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, the cast listing identifies her as the sister of a little girl, with Shea playing the younger character. Kevin led the film as the earnest mall security officer who becomes caught up in another adventure, while the children’s parts were much smaller.
The same year, she appeared in Pixels, the science-fiction comedy starring Adam Sandler and Kevin James. Film credits list her as a classroom scout girl, alongside Shea.
Kevin Can Wait and Hubie Halloween
Sienna-Marie also worked on her father’s CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait, which aired from 2016 to 2018. Cast records identify two appearances credited under Sienna James: a trick-or-treater and a character named Cecilia. The Halloween appearance also involved Shea, who was cast as another trick-or-treater.
In the 2020 Netflix comedy Hubie Halloween, she played one of Danielle’s friends. The film starred Adam Sandler, while Kevin James appeared as a police officer. Published credits again use the shorter name Sienna James and identify several of her siblings in minor parts.
Her 2026 Credit in Solo Mio
A more recent credit appears in Solo Mio, released in February 2026 and starring Kevin James. The film’s cast records list Sienna Costa as a waitress, credited on screen as Sienna James. They also list Steffiana de la Cruz, Shea James, and Sistine James in other supporting roles.
Professional databases connect the entry for Sienna Costa with the earlier credits attributed to Sienna James. It would be misleading to treat those names as two unrelated actresses, but a screen credit alone does not establish whether either is her legal name. The verified point is that her acting record extends into 2026.
Her Stage Role in Oliver! Was More Substantial
In January 2022, Sienna-Marie took part in a production of the musical Oliver! at the Cultural Arts Playhouse on Long Island. She played the Artful Dodger, the quick-witted young pickpocket who befriends Oliver Twist. Kevin James appeared as Fagin, giving father and daughter a chance to perform in a story centered on the same group of characters.
This was not simply a celebrity joining his child’s production without preparation. Theater founder Bruce Grossman said Kevin became interested in auditioning after watching Sienna-Marie perform in Les Misérables. Reporting about the production also described the James children’s acting classes at the venue and Kevin going through an audition process.
Unlike an unnamed movie extra, the character has a recognizable place in a full musical, with dialogue, movement, and interaction across scenes. Her casting shows practical stage involvement; it does not, by itself, tell us whether she intends to make theater her long-term profession.
Kickboxing and Other Creative Interests
Acting is not the only interest her father has discussed. In a 2016 PEOPLE interview, Kevin described his eldest daughter as a kickboxing enthusiast and spoke admiringly, with his usual humor, about her strength. At that point she was ten years old, so the remarks describe her childhood rather than an established competitive sports career today.
During the same interview, James said his children enjoyed animation, drawing, and editing, including experimenting with an animated movie. Those comments offer a different view of the household: the children were interested in how entertainment is made, not only in appearing on camera.
Did She Appear on The King of Queens?
A search for Sienna-Marie James and The King of Queens can create a confusing impression. Kevin starred in the sitcom, and Steffiana appeared as a guest actress. However, there is no comparable established acting credit placing their daughter in that series.
One reason for the confusion is the 2006 episode Affair Trade. CBS’s own guest-cast information identifies Steffiana de la Cruz as an on-screen character named Sienna. That is the mother playing a character with the same first name as her daughter, not evidence that the young Sienna-Marie acted in the episode. Her documented television credits belong to Kevin Can Wait instead.
Sienna-Marie James Now: What Is Publicly Known?
As of October 2026, the most recent clear movie credit identified in published cast records is Solo Mio. Together with her stage work, that establishes an ongoing connection to performance across several years. It does not tell us whether acting is her principal job, what projects she is preparing, or what she plans to do next.
Public coverage has largely come through her father’s interviews, family appearances, and production credits. An Instagram profile should not be attributed to her merely because it uses her name or shares pictures from family events; no independently authenticated public account was established in the sources reviewed here. Readers looking for current updates will get more dependable information from confirmed film credits and interviews than from unsourced biography pages.
Conclusion
Sienna-Marie James is Kevin James and Steffiana de la Cruz’s eldest daughter, but her public record is not limited to that relationship. From small film and sitcom parts to playing the Artful Dodger onstage and appearing in Solo Mio in 2026, she has accumulated varied acting experience. Those documented roles give a clearer picture of her life than speculation about private plans or online profiles.
